My respect grows for you as I read that Starr is not your hero.

Interestingly, I was in Asia for the month of September, 1998, so I was only able to catch snippets of the whole Starr Report scandal. Only a few of the hotels carried CNN. However, I did have a fun time one night as I was hanging out in a bar in Bali, with some natives and many foreigners (I was the only American). It was the night that the section of the report concerning Clinton's cigar exploits came out. We all sat around, drinking nasty local beer and puffing on nasty local cigars and contemplated the concept. From what I heard on my trip, many foreigners (most of whom are used to having leaders who have mistresses) were not disappointed that Clinton had an affair, they were disappointed that he had chosen to have it with someone so unattractive. And they thought that Congress was wasting its time.
