I am kicking myself for selling E*trade too early at $ 35. It went way up and is still going up! Peter Lynch says "know what you own". We all knew VLSI was a "dog". But we sure owned it. Now we are all right!

Otter,

Don't kick yourself too hard. I've been watching Yahoo when they
were priced only $30 per share, not including their 3 splits
that have occured. I've bought some and then sold when the
profit was right. Could have held on and made a lot more, but
then I would need nerves of steel watching their ups and downs.

Don't get sentimental of a stock, or the "what if's"
Take the profits as they come, since this summer the stock rally
is going to take a breather. I've even started shorting some
stocks.

By the way, I am totally out of VLSI now. I know when to get
out before bad news hits. On to the next undervalued stocks.
