One other thing to consider in the 'ADSL vs cable' discussion. If you look at the cable agreements, they will tell you that performance will depend on 'how many' folks are 'online' at the same time in your neighborhood. Performance will drop off, especially evenings, as more folks use the cable service due to how cable is implemented. Not the case with ADSL. As for all the networking product discussion, the Intel product is just one more in what will be a crowded market. Compaq has been shipping PC's with phoneline networking built in for some time now, you can order a bundle of two PC's with everything already built in and ready to go. 3Com and Microsoft have just announced a package. As previously mentioned, Diamond has one out there, and Proxim has been getting good press with it's Symphony wireless product.

John
