Hi, Drake!

I agree with Chuz on this assessment. I have seen the same up and coming tech stars go down in flames this year because of the Y2K concern.

An ex-company of mine (besides NETA...) :-) had plans to go public two years from when I joined the company. This company aims at big companies (Fortune 500's or 1000's) Well, two year come and gone and although they spun off to their own company, they are FAR from going public. They had missed the estimated earnings slightly EVERY quarter and played with the number to make it look like they are profitable. Their biggest obstacle to selling their product was Y2K related.

Needless to say, I was one of the people who bailed out of there...things were just too nasty over there afterwards...BLEECH!!!

The timing is also correct...though I see it easing a bit later than Chuz does....(more like second half of 2000). Why? IT needs to spend $$$ for dealing with the damage. This can definitely go into the second half of 2000 easily...

Cheers,
Joanna
