One of the things that Fisher advocates is the pursuit of scuttlebutt, something which in the past would have been a MAJOR endevour for Mr Avg Investor but the internet has changed all that hasn't it..:-)Dave

but many (most, IMO) can't handle the low-key, long term, research oriented, disciplined approach that Philip Fisher advocates.

It's hard to be disciplined in this market.

Hey, If you can keep your head when everyone around you is losing theirs, maybe you don't understand the situation!
