Has anyone called CNBC ? I think it would at least make a human interest story , kind of one of those funny asides about the power of the net and how with limited knowledge one can create realistic looking fraudulent news items. Kernan or Faber should have fun with this one. Does anyone know how to get through to the CNBC news desk?
George

>>Why isn't CNBC on this like a duck on a junebug?

What makes you think they even know? With all the conjecture, rumor & out-and-out lies posted on the 'net, they (CNBS) would have to spend all day investigating everything.

Jim said <<this was an erronious early release>>--but the does not apply---this article was pasted and made to look like it was via Bloombergs--
two people have called Bloombergs and they have stated they did NOT release any such article.Max90

If anyone still believes the story could be true, here's a little demo of how easy it is to create a bogus page. Took all of 2 minutes:
