I'm wondering if any of this ties back to the discussion about CTXS acquisition opp's. Suppose MS did in fact turn over code to CTXS (which presumably they'd need to pay for) and MS exits TS business?
Far fetched perhaps, but given the history, reorg within MS, DOJ settlement, etc. maybe not...

Marconi...I agree the rumor makes no sense...however it was reported in yesterdays NY Times article written by Neil Fawcett.
