To (I hope) once and for all stomp out these "profound" comments along the lines of "the stock went up real fast, therefore it is logical to expect at least some pullback, some time, maybe."

If the speaker of the aforementioned "great truth" is correct, he or she will (if a skilled trader) "scalp out" maybe 5 or 10 points in the stock.

If people like Gregg Powers or John Scurci are correct, and accumulate QCOM and then hold it, they will make 100's of points.

Who is more important to devote time (and mental energy) to ?

Jon.

Milehigh,

Dissent is welcome. It is tedious though when an individual posts the obvious, a given, in numerous posts. Yes, we all know that stocks that run pull back. Nothing new there. But while a long term bullish story and fundamentals stay in tact, it is foolish IMO to trade in and out of positions. Sure, one may win big a few times, but consistently timing moves in and out is not possible for most people. Wealth is not created by this tactic.

I think posters who opposed GG's agenda simply were cautioning others on this losing strategy.

Regards.
