Corrupt judges are common in many nations and have been uncovered in pockets of the US from time to time. Its hard for me to accept it but I've got a feeling this is only the beginning.

I would like to see a graph of the fraction of GDP that passes through the hands of the court through settlements, court sanctioned agreements, fines, judgements, etc over time. I suspect that number is trending up, exponentially.

I would further guess that at some point, the sheer volume of dollars will induce wide spread court corruption - the temptation will just be to great to withstand.
