Since Horowitz et al sold large chunks of their holdings, where will the stock required to make big buy-outs come from? Company holdings? New stock issues?

$300 million cash also gives GNET another income stream (interest) that can be used to beef up earnings. It is my understanding that Yahoo wouldn't be profitable without their interest income, one more reason to put GNET up with the big boy portals.

RTev,
I agree with you on everything except the overvalued stock price statement. At this point, I think Go2Net's market cap does not reflect its value or potential yet. It would be a shame to see stock buyouts using the current valuation unless the company purchased was undervalued.
