Richard it's a neccesity to boot to your 'service' drive, but finding a way to automate that would be nice Nothing is straight forward is it? <gg> My system is setup using the BIOS as a boot manager. The sw you mentioned would have to shutdown the active drive and reselect a different drive letter in the BIOS and restart at a point in time before Diskeeper and BE are scheduled to execute. wheww......I would really be impressed if it all worked... Thanks for offering to locate the sw....what terminology would I use for a search? My Award BIOS may have some of this functionality too..I'll check into that. Clarence
