From Voodoo Review:

=======================
I just got off the phone with STB's Brian Burke and 3dfx's Richard Burns.
Most of you are familiar with Brian's name so no introduction needed there,
and Mr. Burns is the new Retail Channel Sales VP for 3dfx Interactive.
Richard has over 25 years of experience in the gaming sector (in both
hardware and software) including Sega, Mattel, and GT Interactive.

Anyhoo, they called because they have some info that they wanted to pass
along to you readers, so here it is:

VOODOO3 is OUT! The official release date of the Voodoo3 2000 and 3000 is
April 8, however you may be able to go into retail stores like Best Buy and
Electronics Boutique and find them on the shelves on the 7th (depending on
your area). It will be available Thursday in 9000 stores worldwide, 5000 of
which will be US stores. Those numbers do not include the additional sales
over the Internet. "Worldwide" is basically US and Europe, but Brian said
that it would be released later in Asia and other parts of the world for up
to 15000 stores.

I agree. When I saw the preorder pics of the boxes I really liked the way it stood right out from the others. Everything else kind of blended in. I don't know who is responsible for the packaging but in case you may read this, GREAT JOB!(Maybe you could pass that on Jason) Now the commercials are another thing completely, they are very repetitive, and I think the first, the proud worker, delivered the message most effectively. Why remake what is basically the same commercial in different versions? Seems expensive from a production standpoint and no value added.
