I disagree that it confirms anything of the sort. I'll bet you that the company is a lousy company, and is looking for a scapegoat to blame for the price decline. Let's look at PAIR today for a great example. Yes, posting the phony news caused the stock to pop temporarily. But how long did it take to be exposed as a fraud? 1 hour? 2? It's my opinion that you can't affect the price of an equity for very long with 'net postings, because someone will become motivated quickly to expose the perfidy. It's why 'net pump'n'dumpers hate the shorts.
