BigCap, to join one of the class action lawsuits, you need do nothing, except wait for the lawyers to drop a letter in your mailbox one day. You'll get one, provided you were a shareholder during a date in the class action period. The lawyers will get your name and address from somebody (your broker I suppose). That's what happened the two or three times I was unfortunate enough to own a stock that got tied up in a class action lawsuit.

That letter will ask you to provide them with dates and dollar amounts for your trades.

Then you wait a while, and you will probably see some more correspondence after many months from the lawyers.

Most likely you will never see a penny. That was the case for me. So don't get your hopes up -- these real purpose of these class action lawsuits is to benefit the lawyers, not you.
