Take a look at MANC: currently 2 3/8 x 2 1/2.

Book value: $4.70/share. EPS for first half of FY1999: $0.08 -- with long history of profitability. No debt. Solid revenue growth (15% increase first half of FY1999 versus FY1998). 1st and 2nd Quarter 1999 Sales: $107.5 million. Overall FY1998 Sales: $202.5 million. Market Cap: $19.74 million.

Float is reported as 2.8 million; but the trading float is actually closer to 1.3 million shares since insiders hold 67.5% of the shares outstanding and institutions hold another 16.2%. There are 8,096,600 shares outstanding.

I know, I know. Enough of the boring fundamentals. Here's a list of Internet domains the company has registered:

Also, a couple of posts on Yahoo! suggest that MANC is currently in the process of developing a Web-based auction site and that it is trying to negotiate deals with a couple of portals (Lycos, Yahoo!). Of course, I have been unable to confirm any of this with IR.

This stock popped on speculation about their Web site, which opened in January. I bought some shares this afternoon, figuring it's safe as a value play (trading at about half of book, with no debt) and that the continued unfolding of their Internet strategy could lead to future growth.
