Question for Rich or anyone,

Say totally hypothetically that someone gave someone a stack of CD's that included titles such as Microsoft Office, a Mayo Clinic series, misc games, etc.

I know from past experience that if you normally install software from CD's, in many cases when you try and run the software from your hard drive, you will be asked to insert the CD-Rom.

Is it possible to copy CD's to hard drive such that when you run the software, the original CD is not required?

This would be nice to be able to do in any case, so that in cases such as Riven, you don't have to keep switching between 4 or 5 CD's.

Just hypothetically,

Steve
