Tim Luke...I've been watching your posts and respect them. I'm trying to figure out WLDI, a small 3D chat internet player. Volume has been very high the last three days, and almost all vol is accumulation...I estimate appx 1.5 million shares purchased. This is not a day trader. Do you have any experience with this kind of action in an otc stock?

thx (sorry for the intrusion)

EDIT: I take it back. I wrote the following before I saw the ECI denial.

Tim, there is still not a hard, no-BS denial that these two companies are talking buyout. Which causes my imagination to slip into 2nd gear. Suppose, just suppose, that the article was a hard news item that somehow wound up on the net either by mistake or malevolent intention.

So, if we assume for a moment that it is in fact true, what will be th result of the article being released? Everybody will look pretty stupid if they announce the buyout later this week. What would they do in this case? Cancel the deal? Look foolish and confirm that it was true, just early? Or, postpone the deal until they can save face?

Curious stuff, yes, indeed.

About a month ago, wasn't it ECI that issued a press release announcing that they were in the market to acquire 3 telco equipment makers? Among other consequences, the price of PAIR shot up from around 8 to over 10. porx been wondering ever since: why would a company make an announcement that would drive up the price of companies it was in the market to potentially acquire --???>
