There was (may be still is) a company located right next to the Natik mall, on the round-about on Route 9, in Natik Massachusetts. It was once touted as the next MicroSoft. The company was in the good company of Boston Scientific a few yards away. It was a software juggernaut in a sense. Dream of momentum traders. Shorts got massacred - just like the shorts on many other momentum stocks. If you go back and trace the hype some 3 years ago, you would find this company producing truly outstanding gains, quarter after quarter (of course, it was nothing compared to the internut companies of these days). And then suddenly, one bad Fall morning in 1996, it began to fall. It fell and fell and fell and fell. So much so that it fell out of the charts in to oblivion.
Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you to the great momentum stock of yesteryears - SystemSoft! -g-
