Anybody got a handle on the TUNE/Liberty deal and how it affects us? I am totally confused, especially as regards % ownership, control etc. Links would be helpful. Been in this stock from way back. TIA.

I just read this news report...

Wed Apr 7 IATV Liberty Media Group Reports Year-End Results - PR Newswire

biz.yahoo.com

------------
Warning have a CPA, Lawyer and teenager along your side to figure out what this all means.

I took a stab at it, to try to explain it in type is another story. Either way you look at it we have a treasure-chest of all types (companies, acquisitions, partnerships) to help all of the big names mentioned & alliances grow and strengthen within themselves and without Microsoft's WEB-TV and a few others. I still feel that the recent AOL buyout of Netscape helps and since AOL has announced it will swap the internet explorer with Netscape communicator... we may have some new partners to follow. You are either with AOL and against Microsoft or with Microsoft. ATHM makes this whole arangement a bit wacky but also makes it prove one thing in my eyes the race is on! Agree?

I think the discussion here should turn to the facts presented in this report, I am sure many of you are now looking over it.

For the broker that had you sell he must have understood what this combination of at least 8 large public companies holding, deals and prospects are? Do you think he does?

I doubt anyone here knows, it is so complicated you would have to be Einstein... but with 7 million shares traded and another 20%+ day Einstein is not needed to explain what record volume and higher prices tend to produce later on in one's investment.

Good luck all, looking forward to the teardown of this report, I did like the fact that Sprint Communications was mentioned (PCS).
