Try also StockTax, which will do all this nitty gritty work for you,
by processing your DATEK History pages (among 12 other formats)
and producing a detailed trading report and summary

Thanks Christian for the tip. I was looking for that function, but hadn't quite found it. It seems to move from version to version - or my memory does. <g>

Seems like a Javascript/Excel/Access automatic Sched D/D-1 (or whatever) series of programs ought to be do-able. (In my spare time - ha!) Then if we could convince Kiplinger to do Taxcut as an Excel spreadsheet instead of that gosh-darn idiot-proof user interface we would have something workable. For the USA, anyway.
