Barb, Aha! So you decided to mix long and short term trading and found that everyone can gain in that case. Precisely what I have been talking about. In the long run, we all work and the economy grows, as does our share in it via equity holdings. Mark everything to market at the end of the day for a true analysis of pure short-term trading and you will see what I am saying. I never dispute that some traders are above average. What I posit is that it is a mathematical certainty that all traders cannot be above average. -BGR.
