If your basing your pro-NATO stance purely on history then I suggest you read the history of the region and report on this thread why that justifies us being there. It's obvious based on your inane remarks that you'd much rather rant and rave through emotion that debate a real position.

A lovely young wife, a meaningful career, a conscious decision to retire from the world saving business, and the pleasure I get from giving cyber-wedgies to a bunch of anthropologically naive and historically illiterate neophytes on this thread.
