We've had a miscommunication. I was referring to the other traders in the market. It is true that I also carry mid term position trades, and long term holds in the qualified accounts. But I find those positions to be much harder to predict, than very short term trades. The reason I don't trade the 'long term' stuff has more to do with trading restrictions imposed by mutual fund rules than with a conviction that it's not possible. I still recall a conversation I had with a rep who thought it peculiar that anyone should know the price of a security before entering a trade.
