Howard, I still remember the naivete of my Speculative Markets professor at Wharton. And this guy was one of the top dogs in the field of finance. He actually said, "you just cannot know which mutual fund to buy. I bought the one that performed the best in the previous year, and it did horribly when I owned it." <g> Even a third grader knows you never buy the one that did best last year. That is almost a certain recipe for disaster. BTW, when I did my paper on 90/10, he gave me a gentleman's "B." He couldn't understand reality any more than BGR and Myron Scholes can.
