$1.00 for 20 minutes sounds way too cheap. I can't see them able to make a profit at that rate. AOL charges 2.50 an hour when I use dial-up away from home (I use my local ISP to connect from home). At $1.00 for 20 minutes it would get more use though and may attract more attention with the thought that the price would go up after the trial period. If the Kiosk was used 24 hours per day, that would only be $72.00. If they had 25% usage for 30 days that would bring in $540 per month, minus the fees they have to pay to the hotels could pay the Kiosks off in 1 year. If the hotel I stayed at was 20 minutes for $1.00, I would have stayed on there a lot longer.
