Chuzz: A number of months ago I got out of all my software stocks (used to be in EAII, MSFT, and ORCL). They really seem to be impacted by Y2K. I found better opportunities with more DELL and in the internet sector (with stocks like CMGI, AOL, MCNS, XNET, etc..).

Right now the trend can be your friend and Software stocks and ERP stocks have been nailed. Check out EAII today. My last shares were unloaded for $53. It lost about half its value when they warned that earnings were going to be light. It just did a PSFT <gg>!! These software firms are still great companies but out of favor. IMHO, market perception is important.

I do agree with you that some diversification is wise. Yet, at the moment I have close to 50% of my holdings in DELL. We'll soon see if that will pay off.

Regards,

Scott
