I agree that our nation is going to hell in a handbasket, Jacalyn. And you are right about corruption. But that is easily remedied at the ballot box, something Americans have become increasingly apathetic to do. We continue to reelect crooks, whose fault is that? Ive voted libertarian for the past 8 years for Congressmen, and voted libertarian the last presidential election. "none of the above." Our country needs a house cleaning, domestically and abroad. I think this crisis has shown that need all too clearly. Good night Jacalyn.

it's become a racket - get into office in Washington, get your 2 million from special interest groups, get the 10 million dollar profit sharing plan bonus and get out after 2 terms. It is all self promotion and self interest. Don't forget the memoirs book deal! >I am glad to be living in this country, but, like you, not proud of what is going on internally or externally. Did you see Pristina downtown bombed out? Wait a minute that must have been from the evil Serbs too! No wonder everyone is getting out!
