Eric, I'm not sure why you object to the term isp/content provider
and want me to replace it with On-line Services/content provider. But since it will help me take my mind off the 9 1/2 point drubbing I took in aol and the 7 7/16 gap down in qcom, I'll be happy to debate it with you <g>.

I find it difficult not to think of aol as an isp; they've made huge investments in pops that blanket the USA, so they evidently feel its an important part of their offering. I think the appropriate descriptor should be:

ISP/Content/On-line Services Provider

If you don't acknowledge the isp role, how do you differentiate AOL from Yahoo?
