In the current environment we operate in, I don't agree with your statements..

4/1 split, 2/1 split, 100/1 split, you still own the same % of the company -- therefore no effect.

P/E = price / earnings. With a split, price goes down, earnings goes down -- therefore no dilution.

....but then, you may have your own reasons to believe otherwise ;o)

btw, the above just proves that a split does absolutly nothing for the company or shareholder, yet a stock almost always goes up after a split -- go figure!!
