after seeing the last few years, i'll never say never. i'm the typical torn between valuations and making money kinda guy. i realize the net is changing the world....but struggle with the price-tag attached to it. james

Up 10X in next Five Years? Wow ! Let's see, AOL has a market cap of $180 billion today, so you're suggesting a possible market cap of $1.8 TRILLION ? Assuming a more reasonable P/E of 30 (with high growth still built in) in five years times gives a net income of $60 billion. Quick, what's the profit of the top 10 US companies in total today ? There was a book written about 150 years ago. Called Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds (by Charles Mackay). Ever heard of it ?
