Up 10X in next Five Years?

Wow ! Let's see, AOL has a market cap of $180 billion today, so you're suggesting a possible market cap of $1.8 TRILLION ?

Assuming a more reasonable P/E of 30 (with high growth still built in) in five years times gives a net income of $60 billion. Quick, what's the profit of the top 10 US companies in total today ?

There was a book written about 150 years ago. Called Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds (by Charles Mackay). Ever heard of it ?

So, AMZN will be worth roughly $280 billion?

Wow.

I never knew people were actually this crazy.

Thanks for the heads up.

He he... I see there are 4 other replies to this msg - I can only imagine what people are saying...! I agree with you.... hmm I don't know about Verticalnet - I think I would have replaced it with exds. I also think either cable or DSL will dominate and depending on that outcome @home will be a 10-bagger or not.
