RE: I think I have heard seven million times from analysts how undervalued CPQ is and overvalued DELL is. Yet I keep hearing it. How come CPQ says undervalued and DELL stays overvalued. Could it be the buyers of shares actually know something and think Dell is worth its "overvalued" price while compaq is only worth its "undervalued" price? And isnt something worth what it sells for?

From what I gather off this thread...William B. Michaels I believe says it best...these firms are loaded with CPQ and are sitting on it...how else are they gonna get rid of the dog?
