There were other reasons for the crash of LSI--most prominent that has not been mentioned was the lack of accounting for and the delay in the startup of Gresham, which is just now coming on line, and in fact is just now being needed only for its superior sub micron capability. Another reason for the dramatic drop was the purchase of Symbios, which is turning out to be a superior purchase. Let us not also forget Wilf's premature optimism. And finally, as noted, there was the record third straight downturn in the semi business, which was unprecedented. The name of the game in the semi business is always anticipation, and when we see a downturn in earnings, it will have already been too late because the market will already have anticipated such an event. But going forward, these events are about to pass, and the future for LSI has never been brighter.
