I've finally figured it out...... !-)

Everyone is selling off ORCL so they can move all that $ to the E-madness. Online music for the last few days like TUNE & AHWY
They will be back... but when ?

Gary Korn, haven't heard that name in a while. APM was it? If so, hello and good luck. We all deserve a little better!
Chris

p.s. Go Red Wings (that should stir 'em up)

Me too, I bought another 1000 shares at $21.5. I don't know where is
the bottom. But one thing I know is the company is worth more than
what it is priced now. This may be another ASND for me. Buy on the way down, $15 , $10, $5. I will keep buying until they stop selling.

What an opportunities!

Cheers!
Mike

gary,
I had a difficult time resisting it myself,,,but I just didn't want to get stuck my feet in the mud. I think it will rebound tomorrow based on the chart,,,but it looks like there is some bad news coming and big boys know that...hence the fall in price. to be honest with u i bought some at 21 1/4 and sold off a few minutes before closing at 21 9/16...too many sellers around 21 and change.

Your contention that since internet is booming and they use orcl,,hence it should fly with inuts,,,maybe a little far fetched,,,,database sales are not enough to make it click. Too much competition in the erp and front end world.

anyway, good luck on your investment. you r the xyln guy..aren't u???

Hi Gary,
I recall your informative posts on the Ascend thread as it was floundering in the 20's and 30's. I hope you hung in there and were justly rewarded. I jumped in at 21 1/2 today also, only it was my second jump (first block a few days ago at 26).
Regards - PerryA

congratulations Gary. It looks like
you picked the right one again. It's interesting that
Victoria also bought ORCL - we know her trading skills
very well from the INTEL thread -

what do you think about Y2K influence on Oracle ?

thanks
Joseph

Great entry price and timing,Gary.
BTW,I remember a while back you mention a way to avoid
following the wash sale rule.
Can you let me know ?
Your advice would be much appreciated.
