Daniel, I think you are giving way too much credit to these "investors". Most dont know what market cap is and what it signifies.

It's hard to determine what some stocks are worth these days <ggg>. CSCO would appear to be a value stock next to some, AOL passed IBM in market cap last week and YHOO is right up there with Boeing. It's really the same old story, more and more concentration of buying in the few winners perceived as 'gorillas' in this market...

Regards,
John

I have been looking a COMS it is starting to look interesting but haven't pulled the trigger yet. You mentioned CSCO being worth 26*COMS. How about this? CSCO market cap is now about $17 billion more than IBM! CSCO has sales of $10 billion and earnings of $1.4 billion and has a market cap of $185 billion. While IBM with a market cap of $168 billion, sales of $81 billion and earnings of $6.3 billion. ZACK's consensus growth rate for CSCO is 30% hell even at 50% it would take CSCO 6 years to reach the level of revenue and earnings that IBM currently produces. And their is a good argument that IBM is overvalued as well. Just something to think about... Like anybody cares about fundamentals anymore.
