You sound worried - I thought you were holding out for DECEMBER

The large L2 cache 500 MHz Pentium III Xeons are available I believe.

The larger caches that run at 550 MHz are in limited supply.

No. Here are the Pentium III Xeon chips available:

500 MHz, 512K L2 cache
500 MHz, 1MB L2 cache
500 MHz, 2MB L2 cache
550 MHz, 512K L2 cache

The 1MB and 2MB versions are available right now, but you can't get them at 550 MHz until the third quarter. Maybe the Xeon's L2 CSRAM chips have a tough time reaching the 550 MHz speed? I don't know.
