Jay - Where is the future? I believe I understand what you are saying, in that the cost of computing inherently will go down, while the providers ultimately reap the financial rewards. Technology is a shifting sands landscape. Somebody will still be making money off developing and providing technology in some form. BTW, I still think there is significant life left in the CPU market, in both low cost "value" applications, and higher end stuff. US retail PC sales is not the begin-all end-all. PB
