Hello Mr. Babb:
Thank you for the reference to Brian Valentine (W2000) considering publishing the NT kernel. My reaction is that should be a net positive for software in the long run...more brains involved, more informed decisions, improved software, plus the ability to extend OS capabilities. Right?? How would publication of the NT kernel be a net downside for CTXS?
One of today's posters on the CTXS thread referenced a column in the New York Times today or yesterday that speculated Microsoft was going to drop the core OS that CTXS piggybacks on. My cut at that is it would be too dumb to happen with the antitrust suit underway.
