Have the TI executives said what they plan to do with Micron?

I don't follow MU. Do you? Does MU have a future these days? Will industry need dram next year? Perhaps MU has expanded their business.

Perhaps TI could offset part of the profits from the sale of MU stock by investing in research.

I'm not an accountant so I don't know how that would work.
