How come they don't do this? <AMD also said it took 8 months for this problem to clear its way through the process.> I can't believe it would take EIGHT MONTHS to clear out "A" design problem. This was one damn serious problem, and was almost certainly related to the process, or a series of unrelated "manufacturing" problems that may have included mask re-designs. There you go! We're back to Sander's vague statements again, and we're only left to speculate. PB
