What ... oh sheesh no I don't think that. I don't know enough about Schwab to short them really - although I live in the bay area and happen to know a little about their history and imo their management is not what it used to be. OK - question for you - if you were to short a broker (however you determine Schwabs business to be) - who would it be? Discount brokerage is their main thrust is it not... and are they on the forefront there anymore? Just as a cursory opinion, if you said who would I short out of all the discount brokers... ameritrade, etrade, schwab, etc. I would say Schwab. I don't see any innovation coming out of that company do you?
