Recall, Samsung Cdma Phones> Recall of Toshiba-Built cdmaOne Phones Comline Telecommunications [ Toshiba ] {6502} and others have begun a recall of new cell phones designed to take advantage of the cdmaOne system. Reports said April 7 that the C103T, sold since March by Kansai Cellular and others, has a memory defect that can cause a name and number search function not to work. Some 2000 units have sold. Toshiba and Kansai Cellular have sent customers mail with a list of repair shops. The repair involves a software change and takes about 20 minutes. Toshiba will pick up the cost of the repair.
