Jon, according to Ruth Craig's (Exec Secretary to CEO and CFO) comments on a telephone conversation [Mar 29th, 8:15am], GTMI did NOT finalize this acquisition.

They are looking at other technologies which are equal if not better.

The way I see it 20,000 pre-fab houses (+ another 55,000+ new lots in the works) would equate to a substantial amount of telecommunications infrastructure. Why wire if you could go wireless?

>This wireless technology, transported via satellite utilizing the K-A Band, can deliver a robust 10Mps of bandwidth - Jon

As I understand it, they still have the UCC contract. They did, however, lose the exclusive on the ULTRA PULSE due to not coming up with the needed capital within the time limit on the contracts.

ULTRA PULSE will boost the 10 mps to 1000 mps and they can still have a licensing agreement on the technology.

As was posted earily ref the new company, they have some serious contacts in the telecom field in their part of the world - which is why they merged with GTMI.

The two make a very, very good fit overall and Bently's other operations are just a nice plus! :)
