The DLJ analyst following Schering issued a report yesterday. He estimated that if approved, Vasomax would generate $30 million in sales in the latter part of 1999 and $100 million or more next year.

That's a big IF. Just curious, how do they go from no approval to making $100 million? That's a stretch imo, but I'll leave that arguement to the people who care about the fundamentals. I see a technically weak stock.

If it is true that the shareholder suit was withdrawn or dismissed, perhaps it would be because the stock price was high, so losses couldn't be proven. That does NOT address the merits of the drug or the accuracy of the company's claims.

Do you have a complete copy of the judgment? It seems that only the longs are privy to this information; it has not been published in a press release that we can all see.

As for Asenscio, who cares about him personally? The only people who have mentioned him in this thread in the past year or more have been the longs who bash him.

The issues really are whether the drug has efficacy (seems like it does not), whether it will be approved (it may or may not) and whether it will sell after approved (evidence is that the sales would be negligible).

Meanwhile, maybe just temporarily or maybe permanently, the stock is going down. Last price 18 7/8.
