People aren't stupid. They know what NAVR is and the Linux news is big, point blank, end of story.

Mornin' curby; This time it might be different. I'm no techie, but I see an awful lot of people out there that are very excited about this product(Linux).I see people seeking out news and asking for help on how the can buy stock in companies affiliated with Linux.THIS news is going to spread like a virus.

Curbstone - I agree with you. I like the fact that there are a lot of new faces on this thread, but after reading RagingBull and Yahoo, they seem to think this Linux deal is something huge. It just sounds like way too much hype for Navarre selling Linux software. I wonder if Best Buy put out a press release saying they were selling Linux for dirt cheap. It isn't a cash cow.

The real news will be the IPO, and not this news.

I'll stick to my guess, that if no news comes out today, we will spike up at the beginning as people try and buy on the hype, but we will sink with the other audio/video companies.

I shouldn't be so harsh, sink isn't a good choice of words. People think this is going back to $12 - that isn't going to happen. My wild guess is $16 1/2 today for a high and a finish or a low for the day around $15. This news doesn't do anything for me.

Curbstone,
PR certainly could have gotten a lot more mileage from the announcement if they had included those references, but the fact that they will be a prime distributor of Linux is the main topic of importance...I'm glad they didn't forget to mention that!!<ggg>..I disagree with crimson regarding the importance of the Linux announcement...It is already moving NAVR upward, where the IPO was not.....Of course, the IPO will also give this stock additional impetus upward...when things really start happening!!!
