The phrase that comes to my mind is "Babies makin' babies." They may be sexually active, but they just aren't ready. I have a 13-year-old son, he will be 14 in June, I think he could probably impregnate a girl if he was so inclined, although he professes not to be interested in girls (or boys). He does spend an awful lot of time in the bathroom with the door locked. Anyway, he is certainly not qualified to be a father. I am struggling to balance being a mother and a wife and a lawyer and deal with other issues - - rearranging my life to care for a baby child of my child is unthinkable.
