What the hell is that...

on the front page of the National Post today? LOL

Nice move by the four directors to sell those shares three weeks prior to the recent quarter's report. Just par for the course with this company.

I will NEVER own this stock.

David :)

Corel Announces Resolution of Karla Lyon Class Action Lawsuit - Action is dismissed in court

OTTAWA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 18, 1999--Corel Corporation (NASDAQ: COSFF, TSE: COS) today announced the resolution of the lawsuit initiated in September, 1998, by Karla Lyon as a proposed ''right of publicity'' class action. Yesterday, San Diego state court dismissed the claims by Karla Lyon and the other named plaintiffs against Corel in full, when the plaintiffs stated to the court that they did not believe that they could support class certification.

Corel purchased photographs of Ms Lyon and the other named plaintiffs from reputable stock photographers and then used the photographs in various Corel products. Corel's standard photo purchase agreement requires photographers to represent and warrant that they have all necessary rights to the photographs.

''We are pleased that this case is resolved,'' said Dr. Michael Cowpland, president and chief executive officer of Corel Corporation. ''We have vigorously defended this action from the beginning and are extremely satisfied with the outcome.'' Corel Corporation
