Yea, I thought it was pretty strange that all
these politicos were going off about the 3 POWs.
After all, here we are, bombing Yugoslavia and
then we act like they have committed some kind
of war crime to capture soldiers? This NATO
action is not even sanctioned by the UN and it
is a clear violation of the NATO charter. This
is uncharted water that Clinton has taken us,
there is no time frame on getting out, no goals,
no end in sight. Sounds like "Yugo Nam" to me...

In principle, you're right.

In practice, Americans would feel the Americans are more important, Serbs would feel that Serbian lives are more important than American lives, and Albanians would feel they are more important than either.

If we all felt as you do, there would be VERY few wars. Certainly not this one.
