JDN: Apparently AMR has been around about three years. Seems a mighty short time to become the #1 player in their industry (whatever that means these days). I'm not saying they're not, but I would still like to hear from somebody who knows the company well, or knows the company at all, for that matter. I would also like to know what other companies are going to be present besides the 'sponsors'. I do agree that it seems to be an opportunity to get in front of some real street players. My concern is that the JJ drone, will have them all snoozing by the second paragraph. Don't assume even the so-called experienced and sophisticated analysts know what TAVA's niche of the SI, Factory automation, ERP, et al, market is. TAVA needs somebody who can reduce the company's business to layman/street terms and convert that into numbers the mutual fund/MM people can relate to...and please SHED THE Y2k MANTLE!!! At the same time, the speaker needs to be someone who can hold your attention...JJ is not capable of that on his best day. Please understand I'm am only talking of JJ's public speaking skills. As shallow as it may seem, you need to be a decent speaker to put your point across. Since most of you seem to be highly reluctant to talk with Mr. Jenkins, I guess I'll have to do it myself, even though my knowledge of the basic industry falls far short of yours. As I make my living telling people things they don't want to hear, I have no problem being frank with him in a civil manner. BTW, is anybody planning on going to the conference? Mangan???
