This is not really the thread for a generalized UN debate. But IMO, either you believe in the UN or you don't. Our attitude toward it is we want it involved when it's on our side, and we don't when it's not. Sort of like the American view of the IRS; we want them going hard after that cheater next door, but if WE're under audit, it's discrimination, abuse of government power, etc.

It would take courage to say that we will obey our commitment to the UN whether or not we get what we want. But Courage and Clinton have never even said hello to each other, let alone learned to get along together.
