I treat this as great news!

Before I read it through, I said to myself "this is an auction!". Then I read the statement "...could result in one or more third parties making a formal proposal pursuant to VLSI's request; could result in an auction of
VLSI involving the multiple parties that have communicated expressions of interest in VLSI..."

Now, will the speculators take over? This tight trading range is getting on my nerves.
